Game Recap

Powers slipped past Swartz Creek 4-3 by rallying for 3 runs in the top of the 7th. Spencer Lash scored the winning run on a Creek throwing error after he doubled home two runs to knot the score at 3. Lash pitched six innings to earn the win, but needed an inning of relief from Zack Mazza who notched a save.
The Chargers took game two by a 7-5 score. Pitcher Nick Riley went 4 innings to record the win. Powers broke a 4-4 tie, scoring three runs plated by consecutive RBI singles from Lash, Matt Wiskur, and Cam Conover. Wiskur earned the save.
The varsity resumes action Tuesday, April 18th at home vs. Davison in the SVL opener for both squads.
