Game Recap

The Powers Catholic boys soccer team opened up their season Friday hosting games at Kettering’s Atwood Stadium. The Chargers were able to post a 3-1 victory over Linden High School. Garrett DeLamielleure grabbed the first goal of the game and season from a pass from Bryan Lendzion. Lendzion continued the scoring in the first half with a chip shot played in by a touch through ball from Mason Smith. Bryan also had an unassisted goal in the second half picking off a ball from an Eagle defender and slotting it home. Linden converted their lone goal late in the second half to deny the Chargers an opening shut out. The boys will be back in action at Atwood Stadium taking on Clawson High School with a 6 o’clock kick off.
