MHSAA Update

If permitted by the MDHHS, practice would resume for Fall sports Dec. 9, with tournaments scheduled as follows:    Swimming & Diving: All three Lower Peninsula Finals would be completed on Tuesday, Dec. 22 (diving) and Wednesday, Dec. 23 (swimming) , with three high school sites each hosting one meet.   This allows a two-week practice window

New MHSAA Mandate 11/16 – 12/8

With Governor Whitmer’s announcement this evening, all school sports activities (practices and contests) are suspended effective immediately through at least Dec. 8 or until these new orders are amended.   This means the three ongoing fall tournaments, girls swimming & diving, volleyball and football, have been suspended.  The MHSAA will be exploring all options to complete these

The gym tonight was buzzing with energy.  It felt like old times with large student sections, friends and family.  Powers Volleyball had faced Goodrich earlier in the season and lost in two sets convincingly but tonight was a much different match.  The leads changed back and forth. Both teams came out strong in set 1 but the set ended

Varsity volleyball took one more step in the state playoffs tonight defeating Lake Fenton 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20). Leading the way for the Chargers tonight was Madison Gebhardt with 13 service points, 11 kills, and 11 digs.  Senior Ava Stravato helped with 7 kills and 11 digs along with her 2 service aces.  Junior Gabrielle

Bowling Tryouts

BOWLING TRYOUTS     Boy’s and Girl’s Bowling tryouts will be held November 16th and November 18th at B’s Bowling, at 6pm. You will bowl 4 games each day and we will throw out your two lowest scores. Please bring a $5 tryout fee that will go to the bowling center, and your tryout card.
