Game Recap

The JV Lacrosse team finished SVL league play undefeated with a 15-7 road win at Bay City Western. This is the 7th straight win for the young squad. Powers fell behind early 4-0 but regrouped and outscored the Warriors 15-3 the rest of the way.

John Cislo led the offense with his best game of the year netting 4 goals and dishing 4 assists. Evan Rekowski added two goals. This team once agian showed very balanced scoring with 9 other players netting one goal apiece. This group was led by Preston Lund, Mason Webb and Andrew Weaver.

Michael Wilson had his best game of the year on faceoffs winning 15 of the 20 draws he took. He scooped up a team high 12 ground balls for the Chargers.

Noah Gadola once again turned in a solid peformance in net for the Chargers.

Head Coach Jason Carlile said after the game “We did not start strong but as is the story with this group of young men we fought back and played really solid for the remaining 3 quarters after falling behind 4-0. I’m looking forward to seeing some more consistency on both ends of the field as our next three games are agianst very solid teams.”
