Mr. Lazowski currently serves as the Commissioner of the Lakeshore Region of USA Volleyball as well as the Co-Owner/Co-Director of Five:1 Volleyball Club.  Coach Lazowski’s experience and knowledge make him an excellent choice to lead the Powers volleyball program.  Eric has been the training director for Five:1 VBC for the last 3 seasons and was responsible for coach development, training structure and recruiting coordination.  Eric leads programming from high level club teams to 5-6 year old kid classes.  Coach Lazowski earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Motor Development.

“I’m honored and excited about the opportunity to continue the growth Coach Mary Dent began with the VB program.  I want to thank Mr. Watson and the Powers Leadership for believing in my ability to lead the program. Mr. Watson’s desire and vision mesh well with my philosophies and I’m excited to work together. The current and former Powers athletes I’ve been fortunate to work with have been wonderful experiences.”

Coach Lazowski has been a Division 1 and Division 2 college coach for 12 years, was a lead coach for the USA Volleyball High Performance Pipeline program, and currently runs the Lakeshore Region High Performance Program. He played collegiate volleyball at Central Michigan and Michigan State along with a professional beach career both nationally and internationally. We welcome Eric to the Powers Catholic Community!!
