Lobsinger makes All-State and Dream Teams

Sophomore Owen Lobsinger has voted on to make Class B Division 2 Honorable Mention AP All-State Team.  The Player of the Year in Divison 2 Class B was Romeo Weems.  Weems attended New Haven high school and he also won Mr. Basketball.  The 6’7 forward Weems will play collegiate Basketball at Depaul next season.  Rounding

Charger Basketball team Honored with Academic All-State Consideration

The Powers Catholic Basketball team has been honored for the 2018/2019 season for making Academic All-State Honorable Mention.  The Chargers hoop team garnered a 3.095 GPA.  This GPA is accumulative of all 13 members of the basketball team.  Junior Noah Baylis and Senior Cole Malenich have the highest GPA’s of the group with a 3.96

Chargers Go on the Road for Victory

Powers Catholic Varsity Baseball team traveled to Saginaw Valley Lutheran for a comeback 10-7 win in game one followed by a darkness-shortened early-April 10-1 score over SVL. Varsity Baseball Scores Early and Often in Sweep

Powers Catholic pitchers stifled bats and the Charger offense exploded for 29 runs in 13-0 and 16-1 wins over visiting USA High School on a glorious day for April baseball . Joe Beauchamp dominated on the mound with an 8-strikeout 1-hit shutout performance in four innings. Beauchamp added two hits, as did Zack Mazza and
